A long time ago I had friends. My childhood was spent playing, frolicking and gossiping with them. But we grew up and became adults. I found my Islamic roots, and them, well, they remained non-Muslims. Soon after, we parted our different ways. Why? Because the new paths that we were to follow would be miles apart from each other. I still try to keep in touch with some of them, but going for a pint isn’t my cup of tea, while having a “˜sleepover’ is no longer as innocent as it used to be.
I may have lost a group of friends, but they were to be replaced by a group of people, who are as close to me as my own blood ““ my brothers.
To my brothers, forgive me for all the times I have wronged you. I miss you all dearly; I know things have moved on, you’re all busy with the da’wah, your family and work, yet you still make time for me. I pray that Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala raises your Imaan and InshAllah I pray you do the same for me.

Man, I thought that this blog was supposed to be anonymous. Anyway, it is also hard on my side to replace that band of brothers. I dont even know where the Muslims are. inshAllah, it is a test from our Rubb (swt). I cant imagine how difficult it must have been for Imam Ghazzali to have lived alone for such a long period…. Nah, do not say you are alone, because Allah (swt) is always with you and which better company is there to be? It is only a matter of time before I meet Him (swt) and get to know whether I ll go to Jannah or Jahanam. SubhanAllah, bearing the hardship of loneliness is nothing compared to bearing the hardship of the Fire where the least tortures person will be the one whose brain will be boiling and his two feet will stand on heated rods (or something like that).

Please forgive me, I just today saw your comment on my blog.
“As a Muslim, I would like to know, what is your understanding of Radical Islam?”
That is a very important question. And I will post your question and my answer.
Allah/God Bless
