But I don’t think Charles Clarke changing one word is going to make much difference in practical terms.

Public opinion is definitely a powerful tool but nowadays Tony Blair doesn’t seem to care at all either way! Why is that? Why is it when it comes to Islam, all the rules of the game” go out of the window? What is it about Islam that make them hate it so much?

I’m not expecting you to answer these. Maybe these are questions that can never be answered – at least not as a short post.
