Selling your life to buying your House

--------------

When I read in the media about talk of lump sum spending allowance for MPs’ second homes, something just didn’t seem right at all with the current property system. People in society are struggling. No – wait. They are actually suffering trying to get on to the property ladder to have a safe and secure place to live. In January 2007 the Council of Mortgage Lenders announced that mortgage repossessions in the UK rose by 65% in 2006 to 17,000. Shelter is something which every human universally should obtain without obstacles or strings attached.

If only the privileged had obtained justice or human rights in society, there would have been an outcry by civil liberties and human rights organisations, but when ordinary peoples’ homes are repossessed (Bradford and Bingley repossessed 17,000 homes so far this year) or if they have to have loan over their heads for a lifetime, there is no remark of the stress and suffering people endure.

Why do I have to pay stamp duty to the Inland Revenue for the property I worked so hard to purchase? So that my MP can by go get a new kitchen or coffee machine? Is it not enough that we pay council tax and VAT on practically every single commodity and service we buy in this country?

Why should the common man be subjugated and succumb to the desires and wishes of Banks in this country? Whereas throughout history people who committed usury were looked down upon in history, they are now the most rich and powerful people of our society - through extortion and downright enslaving practices. They are such a powerful lobby they can make governments pay them money because they are scared to lend money!

In this system shelter can only obtained by taking a loan and then enslaving you to one primary goal in life - which is to get rid of the debt. It has countless consequences on the individual, his family and society in general. The western society boasts of being developed countries where technologically they are able to look down on earth from space but they have a sizable proportion of their population that are homeless, elderly dying because of fuel poverty, children living under poverty etc. If the country has so much wealth, why are banks allowed to make the population poorer?

The more you delve into the influences the banks have in our society and more importantly the government, quite frankly it appears a formality to participate in elections to elect the leaders that will so called “look after our interests.”

Continuous regressive taxes are being imposed upon us year after year which hit the ordinary citizen disproportionately harder then the elite. Affecting families, elderly people, children and many other vulnerable groups in society. Just to perform everyday tasks, they cannot be performed without the government having to making us pay for it in some way. In this environment are we expected to have homes or get on to the property ladder?

In Islam the government is responsible for providing every citizen shelter if they cannot afford it themselves. But not only that, it also is responsible for providing affordable housing where the salary of the person equates to their ability to buying a house. There are no regressive taxes in Islam except those who have surplus unused wealth which means that the citizens’ ability to afford housing is not prohibited by oppressive taxes that we undergo currently in this society.

Someone might ask where the revenue will be found for the government to offer such services. One example could be that natural resources such as oil, fuel, water and agriculture would not be in the grips of private co-operations or Arab dictators where they are the only one to benefit from the astronomical profits they make. Oil giant BP has reported a 26% rise in annual profit to $16.2bn (£8.7bn) after benefiting from high oil prices this year. The company is earning about $1.8m an hour. Thus a commodity such as oil would be nationalised and revenue generated will go back to the people are illustrated in the saying of the Prophet Mohammed (saw):

“People share in three things: Water, Pasture lands, and Fire.

The difficult decision of buying a house in this country has left many young working people demoralised at the state at which our debt has reached and the subsequent miserable life we have to look forward to, and to pass on top our children. Surely it must be clear that for the ordinary people as well as aspiring migrants, western society where it is considered land of opportunity is in fact a land of enslavement and prosecution (financially.)

Yeah, its pretty retarded trying to buy a house here. Though the option you are referring to, sounds a bit Statist in its mentality. Like wanting to live in large commune pre-fabricated Communist style blocks. Lack of choice, a bit like Stoke.

LOL, i don’t think Stoke is the only area!!

Though I agree with you it sounds a bit “Communistic,” the option I was referring has some certain well recognised differences. So for example in Islam you would be allowed to be millionaire or billionaire and own your own private abode or even abodes. The fact you will be able to have private ownership must be a stark differences to communist or socialist principles.

Even though what i was referring to as an option seems similar to communism, its probably because it is something we have of recent experience. If you actually seen the option in actual works “golden age” of Islam you might get a better picture.
